INVESTING IN YOURSELF

Dentists spend a lot of time investing in themselves, for example:
It takes years and expensive schools to receive the education you must have in the beginning,
You spend countless hours training and perfecting techniques,
Continuing education seminars are a necessary requirement,
Psychology seminars to understand each and every patient more fully,
Physical exercise, often with a trainer to make sure you are at your peak performance daily,
And many other ways we could go on and on…
But, often (as coaches in this industry) we see as soon as the income gets comfy, they forget to make one last important investment, and that is to invest in a business coach, this could be a life and practice changing transformation.  It’s one thing to live comfortably, another to know you have reached your full potential in terms of success!

Another observation we make as business coaches and analysts in dentistry is that dentists tend to overlook the very important investment of a business coach. Most often dentists don’t view a coach as a necessary requirement to their practicing career, but they should. We see many dentists that start their business and begin to enjoy a comfortable income; then never challenge or raise the question could I be doing better? How is a dentist to know what is truly possible without expert advise, someone who can view the business from a growth point of view, and become his/her advocate for the business. Someone highly trained to know when a dentist is maximizing his profitability and productivity. After everything a dentist goes through, we want to make sure every dentist we touch the life of knows what is possible. Often a very comfortable income can be doubled, with no additional hours spent in the practice. We have a vantage point many dentists don’t have, because not only do we know how to transform the dental business, we do it daily for clients and therefore over the past 25 years of consulting experience we have seen the doubling, tripling and quadrupling income stories happen for dentists over and over again.

So my point is, before you decide to just get comfy, with any level of income, ask the question of a highly trained professional like us, what is possible? Of course we need basic info to make those determinations, but that is easily gathered information many dentists already track and analyze. If you do not track any numbers, it’s still easy for us to help you obtain. We have the ability to interpret that data to create a business plan to determine if your potential is being reached.
